We are able to help clients set up and run quality circles / improvement teams.
The characteristics of a 'quality circle' are that it:-
is a small group of (normally) between three and seven people who do similar work
- operates under the direction of a team leader
- meets voluntarily
meets regularly
meets in normal working time
meets away from the work area so that team members do not get distracted
identifies, analyses and solves 'work-related' problems.
To be fully effective, all members of a quality circle need to have experience of a generic problem solving process so that they are all 'singing from the same hymn sheet'.
